Speaker Pam Boyd, with Dramatic Conclusions. The seminar topic will delve more deeply into the luncheon topic from our October luncheon, “Living and Working Drama-Free”. Pam Boyd speaks from hard-earned experience, having spent twenty years in management, and having been a well-seasoned, back-stabbing, corporate-hating, finger-pointing, excuse-making and pathologically negative middle manager before she turned her career around. Pam ended her management career as a Vice-President and Chief Operating Officer for Sonny Bryan’s Barbeque. In 1998, she launched Dramatic Conclusions, a consulting firm providing leadership and management support. She has worked with clients in 50 states, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Canada, the Virgin Islands, and Europe, and is the author of three books, The Essential Handbook for First-Time Managers, The Two-Minute Tune-Up, The Miracle I Almost Missed, three screenplays, and numerous articles and webinars. Her new book, soon to be released is The How-To-Be-Happy-at-Work Handbook: Drama-Free Strategies for Successfully Dealing with Bosses, Coworkers, and Bad Days. She has served as an officer and board member for the Writer’s Garret, the Rotary Club of Park Cities, and the Oak Cliff YMCA, and Brookhaven Country Club. She is a past member of the Dallas Chapter of Women in Film and the Dallas Producer’s Association, and current member of Women Business Council Southwest (WBCS).
